24 additions and 1 removal between the two official list dates.
24 vessels entered OFAC's list in 65 days.
13 of 24 additions carry IRAN-EO13902, the most common of the 3 programs among them. Flag records span 9 groups, led by Ecuador (10).
Additions across several programs
1 record came off the list in the same interval. The retained series covers 7 snapshots from 2026-05-29 through 2026-09-23.
Led by Ecuador with 10. Flag records do not establish ownership or current operation.
The dominant vessel type in the new cohort, followed by Fishing Vessel.
How this interval compares
The latest interval added 24 vessels over 65 days. The largest earlier expansion across these 7 retained snapshots added 20 over 16 days (2026-07-01 to 2026-07-17). Snapshot intervals are irregular, so this is context for the observed series, not a complete history of OFAC actions.
Where the new cohort sits
Counts below describe only the 24 records added since 2026-07-20, not the full OFAC vessel list.
Recorded flag state
Source spellings are normalized for grouping; original values remain in the download.
Vessel type
Crude Oil Tanker accounts for 46% of additions.

The wider designated fleet
As of 2026-09-23, OFAC's SDN data contains 1,540 vessel records. 1,527 (99.2%) include an IMO number.
Largest recorded flag groups
Share of all OFAC vessel records.
Largest sanctions programs
Programs overlap, so shares do not sum to 100%.

How the index is built
ArcNautical parses the official US Treasury OFAC SDN CSV, selects records typed as vessels, and compares stable OFAC record identifiers between publication dates. Every headline count is recomputed from the downloadable records; no estimate or manually entered total is used.
All 7 normalized source snapshots are publicly listed with SHA-256 hashes. The manifest records publication dates, retrieval timestamps where available, record counts, and direct snapshot downloads.

What the counts do not tell you
How a sanctioned ship is identified, the flags and company layers it hides behind, and how ArcNautical screens a single hull.
Counts describe the list. Decisions require the hull.
Bind the IMO, inspect ownership, and screen the vessel across relevant regimes before acting.
